XKG Ridge Pants are a performance fitting pant that fit true to size - if you're in-between a size, we recommend buying a waist size up.

The XKG Ridge Pant is designed for performance, comfort, and durability and is the highest performing lightweight pant in our XKG Series. With four-way stretch polyester, water resistant treatment, and superior breathability, we built this pant to be a highly functional piece during every phase of the hunting season.

It is equipped with articulated knees for comfortable walking, grip strip waistband, reinforced pockets for knives, snapped cargo pockets for secure storage, and roll up pant snap loops to keep your pants dry while crossing streams or to stay cool during the hot early season months.

Conditions

This pant performs in every phase of the hunting season. Weighing only 18.7 oz., it's worn by archery hunters in the desert during the early season when temps approach 100 degrees. Then, it still has the versatility to be worn with or without a base layer during freezing late season hunts where mobility and major mileage is a requirement.

Protection

Treated with DWR water-resistant protection to repel moisture and Polygiene Odor Control Technology to eliminate the growth of bacteria which causes odor - good for the life of the pant and a highly appreciated quality after many days in the field.

Material

Built with 90% Polyester and 10% Spandex, this 4-way stretch material is a high performing blend that moves with you while hiking, providing minimal resistance. Our polyester blend fabric pulls moisture away from your body and dries quickly.

The XKG Ridge Pant is a Layer 2 piece. It can be worn as a stand alone piece, paired with a base layer, or worn with a rain pant or down pant over the top.

Awesome Product

I’ve only got to use these once since I bought them at the ends of the season. The day was 55 when I first went out and 72 degrees in the western panhandle of Florida. I like the flexibility and fit of the fabric of the these pants. They are light and very durable. I specifically bought these as Level 2 of the layering system for My hunts in Illinois. They will be my go to hunting pants most days here in Fl. I bought a size 38 thinking they might be snug but there is plenty of room. There are plenty of pockets ya carry stuff in the tree stand. Great product and I will be buying more. I do want to take a second to Thank Kings Camo for the support they give old Military retired guys a discount, even on sale items. That’s pretty rare that companies will do that. If you’re military or first responder get an ID.Me account and use it here. The customer service is top notch.

These XKG Ridge Pants are an absolute game-changer—both in the field and in everyday life. One minute you’re stalking elk through the backcountry; the next, you’re sneaking past your ex in the frozen food aisle. Versatility at its finest. First off, they’re built for the hunt. Durable, breathable, and stretchy enough to crouch, climb, and sprint when you suddenly realize you forgot to pack snacks. They shed water like a duck and keep you cool when life gets sweaty. But let me tell you, these bad boys aren’t just for hunting. Oh no. Need pants that say, “I’m rugged and practical, but also totally down for Taco Tuesday”? XKG Ridge has you covered. I’ve worn them to the office, to family BBQs, and yes, even to church—where I prayed for the next hunting season to come faster. Fit-wise, they’re true to size. Waistband is comfy, and the pockets are big enough to store hunting tags, snacks, and my hopes and dreams. Final verdict: Buy a pair for the hunt and a second pair for life. Or just wear the same pair everywhere and become a legend.

Great Pants

I like these pants so much I have them in multiple patterns. I think they are great for early to mid season. They are not loose or baggy at all. They have some give to the fabric so I don’t feel restricted either. I like the oversized belt loops and longer inseams as well. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I can’t get them in size 30 Long.

How should I layer these for mid to late season in Georgia? We get maybe a few mornings below freezing. But typically lows are in the 35-45 degree range.

How burr resistant are these pants? I have pants from other manufacturers that are polyester and spandex and burrs attach to them like crazy.

These pants are extremely burr resistant. although it is impossible to stop all burrs from a polyester pant. these pants will perform amazingly well in burr infested country.
